Slightly Meta story for you on Balls today about the footballer who was sold for a transfer fee of 50 balls in Costa Rica. Roger Fallas who's contract with his club Pumas was close to expiry was allowed to move to newly-promoted Costa Rican first division side Universidad de Costa Rica for the princely sum of 50 footballs. Pumas excellently named technical director Rigoberto Chinchilla told the also excellently named Radio Monumental "I asked for 50 balls, it's all sorted," and added "They asked me what the matter is with Roger. I told them that it is a privilege to watch him and I will not close the doors for him to get better and play in the first division." Sound man.
All this talk of balls reminds me of a song..... maybe the best ever balls related song.
