Jose Mourinho's season could be about to go from bad to worse after confirmation that the FA are investigating the Chelsea boss's conduct during the much publicised incident with Chelsea medical staff Eva Carneiro and Jon Fearn.
Fearn, the Chelsea physio, has since returned to work but Carneiro has not amid reports that legal proceedings have begun in a possible case of constructive dismissal. While Chelsea as a club may be on the hook for that, Mourinho himself could be in trouble with the FA as a result of his conduct during the incident.
The independent.co.uk are reporting that the FA have began investigating a complaint that Jose used 'abusive, sexist language' either from the touchline or after Carneiro returned to her seat on the bench having treated Eden Hazard against Swansea. A statement from the FA confirmed that an investigation was ongoing.
The FA has received an enquiry relating to an alleged incident during the Premier League fixture between Swansea v Chelsea on 8 August, and will make no further comment at this time.
If Jose is found to have breached the rules of the Association he could potentially face a five match touchline ban on the grounds of improper conduct.
