The Daily Mail have presented us with a bizarre story as to why Andres Villas-Boas and Emmanuel Adebayor fell out. Apparently it's all because of Adebayor's beanie hat.
They say:
'At the beginning of the season, the Spurs striker walked into a team meeting wearing a hat and Villas-Boas asked him to remove it; a request Adebayor declined.
Sportsmail understands the pair exchanged heated words and during the argument Villas-Boas vowed not to play the striker.'
He only made one substitute appearance in the Premier League this season prior to AVB's departure.
Obviously Togolese mammies aren't as strict on the whole wearing hats indoors think. Sure did he not know it wouldn't do him any good when he went outside after?
