Australian goalkeeper Mitchell Langerak was sent off last night against Ecuador for an ill-fated attempt at a clearance. To call it ill-fated is a bit of an understatement, given that he nearly sent Enner Valencia out of the stadium.

Australia led 3-0 at half-time only to end up losing 4-3.
