St. Pat's beat Bray 3-2 in the EA Sports Cup last night.
After the game finished 1-1 in extra time, Jamie McGrath gave Pat's the lead. Bray hit back through Gareth McDonagh.
Ten minutes from the end of extra-time, Mark Tomlin settled the game with a ball which sailed over the head of Peter Cherrie.
Whether he meant or not is another thing.
His rather blasé celebration would suggest that he did not.
UPDATE: The man himself has been in touch, and has poured scorn on the idea that it was a fluke:
@stpatsfc @ballsdotie disrespectful, no fluke

That would appear to be the definitive answer.
