Heartwarming Story Alert As Eight-Year-Old Cancer Patient Scores Winner In Charity Match

The Portland Timers played a charity match against kids soccer team, The Green Machine, on behalf of the Make-A-Wish foundation at the Timbers home ground, Jeld-Wen field.

The star of show was eight-year-old cancer patient, Atticus Lane-Dupre, who scored four goals including the winner in the Green Machine's 10-9 victory over the MLS side. Lane-Dupre was diagnosed with cancer with cancer last Autumn.
