Aston Villa fans have combined their opinion that Fabian Delph is a snake with one of the better Simpsons references around and the results are one truly excellent.

We've seen some good banners, and some good pop culture references in the recent years, but the 'Whacking Day' banner unveiled at Villa Park today has to be right up there with the best of them. The score finished 0-0, a great result for Villa in Remi Garde's first match in charge, perhaps they should try to incorporate more Simpsons banners into their home matches going forward.
