For pretty much no other reason than the fact that I one day found myself with too much time on my hands, we have put together an all-time Premier League frequency table, organised by the teams that have finished in a position the most often.
I'm not sure what conclusions we can draw from this other than the fact that it is mildly very interesting. For instance, did you know that Aston Villa have finished sixth more times than any other team? Or that Everton are the side who have narrowly avoided relegation the most?
Sheffield Wednesday have finished 7th as often as Liverpool have. Chelsea's only noteworthy record is the fact they've been placed 11th more times than any other club ... the list of interesting tidbits from this table is endless! You'll have plenty of trivia for when you're in the pub tonight.
