Aston Villa beat Reading 2-1 at the Madejski on Tuesday night.
Incredibly, it was the club's first away win since August 2015 - the opening day of the Premier League season against Bournemouth. 437 days later and Villa have finally won another.
Last night was Steve Bruce's second game in charge. His first was a 1-1 draw with Wolves at the weekend. Bruce was the fifth Villa manager to attempt away victory since that game against Bournemouth. Tim Sherwood, Remi Garde, Eric Black and Roberto Di Matteo had all failed previously.
Victory came via a late penalty from Jordan Ayew. The Ghanaian took the spot kick after he had been tripped in the box by Liam Moore.
The Villa fans, victory in sight, went nuts for the goal.
