Juventus and Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after crashing his Ferrari late last night. The crash took place outside Santiago, Chile's capital, where Vidal has been in excellent form during the host nation's Copa America campaign.

It has been confirmed that Vidal only suffered minor injuries although, his wife, who was a passenger in the car, is said to have suffered slightly more serious injuries.
Santiago Police spokesperson, Ricardo Gonzalez, confirmed that the Juventus midfielder had been arrested on suspicion of drink driving saying 'because he was driving under the influence of alcohol, he is being held'.
Vidal has since posted a video message on YouTube confirming that a crash had taken place but that he and his family were okay.
