Ronald Koeman was confirmed as the new Everton manager on Monday. It ended his time at Southampton after just two years.
Given what Koeman has achieved in his time at St. Mary's, continuing the good work of Mauricio Pochettino - he has done wonders for the form of Shane Long - the rumoured £5 million compensation which Southampton are due would appear a bargain from Everton's point of view.
That Koeman is leaving has angered former Southampton goalkeeper Artuc Boruc. The Pole, currently at Euro 2016, is now first choice keeper with Bournemouth.
On Twitter today, Boruc called into question Koeman's '#loyalty' and the Dutchman's apparently succumbing to the lure of Everton's newly acquired '#money'.
Problem is, Boruc's irritation with Koeman partially has its root in a fake quote.
Memes with quotes on them often appear to be taken as gospel some of the more naive social media users.
No words for this one... #money #loyalty pic.twitter.com/AtXC9NdP5o

The individual behind the quote - @C98__ on Twitter - is revelling in its infamy.
