February 29th is not the only day we've lost from last year: Saint Totteringham's Day has also bitten the dust. For those unaware, the latter is the day that Arsenal fans celebrate finishing above Tottenham, and falls upon the day such a scenario is mathematically ensured.
A feeble 2-0 defeat at White Hart Lane today means that Arsenal are doomed to finish beneath Spurs this season, however, the first time they have done so since 1995.
Arsene Wenger has spent much of the past few months contending with various microcosms for Arsenal's regression, with this the latest. (Granted, finishing below this Spurs side should not be seen as a disgrace: they are bloody brilliant).
This narrative was seized upon by Sky Sports in their post-game interview, with Wenger peppered with questions about this latest indignity: Tottenham's primacy in North London.
Wenger is usually very courteous and patient with the media, but he soon became sick of this line of questioning and ended up storming out of this interview. Watch it below.
