Arsenal's Potential Starting XI For Next Season Looks A Lot Better With Petr Cech In It

Veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech is about to make a move across London to join up with Arsene Wenger and Arsenal, potentially being the solution to a goalkeeping issue that has been niggling away at The Gunners ever since Jens Lehmann left the club.

With the addition of a proven top-level Premier League goalkeeper, the Arsenal team looks much stronger, and if you include the heavily linked Porto striker Jackson Martinez in there as well, then it really does look promising when you consider how well the squad finished last season.

A deal for Jackson Martinez may still be some way off, but he has been earmarked as one of Wenger's top priorities this summer in order to provide a focal point for an attack which was already creating countless chances thanks to the likes of Ozil, Cazorla, and in particular, Alexis Sanchez last season.

Francois Coquelin emerged as one of Arsenal's best performers last campaign, and if Jack Wilshere can manage to stay injury free for more than 30 mins, then you have to admit that Arsenal look a good bet for a deep title challenge next year.
