Earlier this summer, news broke that Arsenal had hired Mayo strength and conditioning coach Barry Solan. In what is surely now becoming something of a tradition for Arsene Wenger, the Examiner are reporting that the Gunner's have now added further to their Irish roster.
Cairbre Ó Caireallain becomes the latest Irish fitness coach to gain his stripes in north London following in the footsteps of the likes of Solan and Padraig Roche.
Evidently, Arsenal's fascination with hoovering up best and brightest of Ireland S&C coaches showing no sign of abating.

Ó Caireallain, from Belfast, has been working with the Limerick minor hurling team and now he has the opportunity to gain some much coveted experience as part of the youth set-up at Arsenal.
Mayo's strength and conditioning coach, Solan, began a similar role at the Emirates earlier this summer and he joined Tipperary man, Padraig Roche, who has been working as a sport scientist with Arsenal since 2013.
Ó Caireallain is the latest coach to be hired by a high-profile football club and the trend is proving to be a ringing endorsement for the quality of GAA coaching.
