With every passing day real life football seems to be getting more and more like Football Manager.
BBC journalist David Ornstein posted a tweet last night saying that, from what he gathers, Gonzalo Higuain had actually agreed terms with Arsenal before they decided to put him on the long finger when they turned their interest to Luis Suarez.

So basically Arsene hit the 'delay' button on the transfer deal, only for Napoli to jump in and woo Higuain away.
