Arsenal ended Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's unbeaten away record with a 2-0 victory over Manchester United. It sets up a nail-biting finish in the race for the top-four.
Goals from Granit Xhaka and a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang penalty ensured all three points for Unai Emery's outfit. However, there will also be focus on the Arsenal fan who invaded the field and made contact with Chris Smalling in yet another pitch invading incident.
In the aftermath of Aubameyang's penalty, an Arsenal fan invaded the field to go celebrate with the players. He was quickly escorted off the field.
? "You absolute numpty"
The last thing we wanted to see today, another pitch invader, this time at the Emirates ? pic.twitter.com/M5AZ6WO9T4

Gary Neville was highly critical of the invader, labelling him an "absolute numpty." Meanwhile, Graeme Souness labelled the pitch invader a "village idiot" and called for a lifetime ban. It comes after a much more serious issue earlier in the day, when Aston Villa's Jack Grealish was struck by a fan during the second city Derby.
The incidents provoked much discussion online.
Fan on pitch after Auba penalty, shoves Smalling and runs to join Arsenal celebrations. Not a good day for the stewards after Grealish incident.

Arsenal fan on pitch - the THIRD incident involving a Gunners fan at Emirates this season. Bottle thrown at Alli, coin at Lingard and now fan gets to Smalling. Questions need to be asked.
