Bukayo Saka scored two of Arsenal's goals in their 3-2 Premier League win over Liverpool at the Emirates this afternoon, including a cooly taken penalty winner in the 76th minute.

It was sweet redemption for Saka, who infamously missed the penalty which handed Italy the Euro 2021 trophy.

Since then the 21-year-old winger has been in sensational form for his club, and has contributed massively to their upturn in fortunes, and their place at the top of the Premier League.

Arsenal Down Liverpool

Arsenal took an early lead through man-of-the-match Gabriel Martinelli, after just one minute of play, before Darwin Nunez equalised midway through the first-half.

"I had what I was going to do in my mind and I stuck with it," said Saka on his winning penalty.

"In the past two or three years, Liverpool have been a team we have struggled against. To win in front of our fans is special and it shows how much we are progressing.

"It gives us more confidence because they are a fantastic team and we have a lot of respect for them. I feel like we deserved to lead at half-time so to get that goal was crucial. I want to score more now."
