11-year-old Charlie Sherwood had his wrist broken in two places when he blocked a free kick which went over the bar during Real Madrid's 6-0 over Bournemouth on Sunday.

Charlie received a signed Real Madrid shirt for his troubles which was presented to him by Bournemouth legend Steve Fletcher.

He also described it as one of the most "spectacular" ways you could break your arm and was far better than falling out of a tree like his father.
