From The Daily Mail:

FAI bosses are now looking to introduce a set of rules for players during international breaks to control their outbursts on Twitter.

The view within their HQ in Abbotstown is that if they wouldn’t get away with such behaviour with their clubs and managers, why should they have a free rein on Ireland duty?

This follows a tweet by Shane Long before the game against Kazakhstan last night and also one by James McClean where he said it had been "a long 10 days".

James McClean has of course got himself in a bit of bother via Twitter previously and also on other social media platforms.
