Last night's pre-World Cup friendly drama came during England's clash with Ecuador in Miami, where Antonio Valencia reacted aggressively to a hard challenge from Liverpool's Raheem Sterling. Both men received red cards, and if you some how managed to miss the footage, you can see it all here.

Antonio Valencia last night took to twitter to offer an apology to his country, and his team-mates and coaching staff, but he didn't mention anything about Sterling. Presumably, having had his ankle broken by a not dis-similar challenge in 2010, Valencia isn't sorry for his actions.

Raheem Sterling is yet to comment, but we will keep you up to date with anything else that comes of this incident.
