It has been a rough few months for Antoine Griezmann. The Frenchman's form has deserted him as fans began to wonder had he been 'Fernando Torresed.' It all came to a head during the Madrid derby last week as he was hauled off after 70 minutes and booed by his own fans.
Atlético Madrid have endured similar struggles this year, 10 points off Barcelona in La Liga and entering tonight in third position of their Champions League group. Tonight, however, both theirs' and Griezmann's form seems to be finally taking flight.
Playing Roma at home, Griezmann broke the deadlock with a stunning scissor-kick.

There is something extra special about a strike like that when the ball thunders into the net. It is helped by a beautiful connection and is hopefully a goal that will spark a return to form for Griezmann.
