On Saturday, Hibs beat Dundee United on penalties to claim a place in the Scottish Cup final on May 21st.
Two Celtic players - Anthony Stokes and Liam Henderson - are on loan at Easter Road. Both started yesterday's semi-final.
The other semi-final, between Celtic and Rangers, took place today. It was just the second Old Firm meeting in the last four years.
After extra-time and a dramatic penalty shootout Rangers came out on top. The result means Stokes and Henderson will be available for selection by Hibs manager Alan Stubbs in the final.
If Celtic had won, as the game would have been against their parent club, both players would have been ineligible.
On Twitter yesterday, Scottish radio presenter Gerry McCulloch suggested that Stokes and Henderson would be supporting Rangers because of the possibility of them being unavailable to play in the final.
Stokes & Henderson big Rangers fans tomorrow.

That hypothesis was shut down rapidly by Anthony Stokes.
@gerrymcculloch1 @Desb65 @ClydeSSB your kidding yourself on if you think Id like to see Rangers win any game never mind against Celtic??
