Anthony Stokes travelled with Celtic to Inverness on Sunday, though not in the capacity which he desired.
He will be a spectator rather than a participant as Celtic look to extend their Scottish Premiership lead to seven points.
Stokes tweeted in relation to decision of manager Ronny Deila to leave him out of the matchday squad.
Along with being unhappy about his omission, the Dubliner lacked enthusiasm regarding the weather coming in from the North Sea.
Buzzing to be brought all the way up to inverness with the team to sit in the stands today, lovely weather for it too...??

Stokes has played just twice for Celtic this season, his last game coming back in August. This is despite - according to him - training and being fit to play.
@subonemesis48 obviously I am! You would too if you wer doing double sessions every day, fit and ready to play?

Who gives a fuck about wages when your not playing games! It's all about playing and contributing not picking up a wage.

Stokes may be aggrieved at having to attend the game despite not being involved, but there is a good reason why teams do this.
Should, for example, Celtic's top scorer Leigh Griffiths be injured before the game, it is likely Stokes could be called upon to at least take a place on the bench.
