Three weeks ago, Anthony Martial was seemingly warned to shape up at Manchester United when José Mourinho suggested he 'missed his chance' with a relatively poor display versus Liverpool at Old Trafford.
Martial was subsequently dropped for United's 1-1 draw at Stoke the following weekend, and again didn't feature during their 2-1 League Cup semi-final second leg loss at Hull.
He seemed to seize his opportunity for redemption when he starred in the second half of United's FA Cup victory over Wigan, bagging two assists and having a goal chalked off in the process, but hasn't played a minute since. Naturally, the rumour mill was a-churnin' regarding his supposed falling out with José Mourinho, whom 'the meeja' maintains is far from fond of the 21-year-old Frenchman.
Numerous reports have linked him with a move away from Old Trafford in the summer, but Martial - it would appear - isn't having any of it. He broke his recent silence on Twitter this morning, indicating he intends to remain at United and fight for his place in Mourinho's plans.

The curt response to recent suggestions that he's 'unsettled' and/or on his way out came as music to the ears of many a United fan, none more so than Phil Neville, who provided the following hot take.
Top stuff.
