Anthony Martial has broken his silence since his failure to return to Man United's preseason tour of the US. The France international left his side's tour of America to be with his wife during the birth of their second child, and has today tweeted that his son Swan is doing well and that he will be back in Manchester tomorrow:
Thank you all for your posts. My little Swan is fine, for the mom it was harder but thanks to God she's better now. Sorry but my family will always come first... Back tomorrow in Manchester.
Merci à tous pour vos messages. Mon petit Swan va bien, pour la maman ça était plus difficile mais Grâce à Dieu elle va mieux maintenant. Desolé mais ma famille passera toujours avant Tout... Retour demain à Manchester ??

Earlier today Jose Mourinho was asked whether he expected to see Martial back at the club once the squad returns to Manchester, and the Portugese replied: "I don't know." Martial's comments about family coming first seem to be a clear message to Mourinho, and it will interesting to see if the 22-year-old remains at the club following his little indiscretion.
Meanwhile United have been linked with World Cup star Yerry Mina, the Colombian seems destined to leave Barcelona this transfer window, with Everton another possible destination for the centre back.
United have also been linked with Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld as well as Leicester's Harry Maguire, but Mina would cost significantly less than both options, with the 23-year-old believed to have a price tag of around £35 million.
