With a second-placed finish well within Manchester United's grasp this season, Jose Mourinho does not appear to be slackening the reins whatsoever; Anthony Martial continues to frustrate fans through his absence.

Ahead of next weekend's FA Cup semi-final against Tottenham Hotspur, the Portuguese has opted for a relatively full-strength side with West Bromwich Albion coming to Old Trafford this afternoon.

Juan Mata steps in for Jesse Lingard, while Victor Lindelof takes Eric Bailly's place in the back-line - otherwise, it's the same team that faced Manchester City on derby day.

At 22-years of age, the French forward Anthony Martial continues to remain a peripheral figure. With United fans concerned that one of their young starlets who has shown much promise (albeit sporadically) will be moved on the summer, they have taken to Twitter to voice their frustration at Mourinho's approach toward Martial.

Adopting the hashtag, #FreeMartial, fans are clearly keen to let him go, if United are determined to leave him unused.

Although not everyone is convinced the Frenchman is necessarily worthy of his place in the team.

A win today would lift United four points clear of third-placed Liverpool, with a game in-hand over Jurgen Klopp's side.

With Martial taking his place on the bench, there is some chance he will play his part today regardless.
