Ireland U21 star Anselmo Garcia MacNulty has been making steady ground since making the move to the Dutch Eredivisie and he appears to have plenty of admirers.

Over the last few years, it has become increasingly common to see Irish players make the move to continent in order to further their careers.

Anselmo Garcia MacNulty is no exception, impressing on loan in the Dutch second tier at NAC Breda, before PEC Zwolle signed him on a permanent deal from Wolfsburg last summer.

The towering defender has excelled since stepping up to the Eredivisie and has been one of Zwolle's standout performers - recently making the league's WhoScored? Team of the Week.

Just 21-years-old, MacNulty is reportedly attracting widespread interest from major clubs in England and elsewhere.

Traditionally a central defender but having been used as a left-back at Zwolle, MacNulty has reportedly garnered attention from Premier League-bound Leicester City.

The EFL Championship winners have been keeping tabs on the young Ireland star as per reports in Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo.

They are not the only ones. Leeds United and Southampton - both of whom are in the mix for a Premier League return - are also said to be interested.

Elsewhere, Club Brugge and Real Betis are said to be in for the Sevilla-born player.

MacNulty did only sign a two-year extension with Zwolle earlier this season, but the club could be swayed if their valuation is met.

A major move will only serve to further his case for promotion to Ireland's senior team, where the likes of Nathan Collins, Dara O'Shea and Andrew Omobamidele are among those battling for places.
