Angry Arsenal Fans React To The Bullshit Nikola Zigic Rumour

For anyone who hasn't seen the big transfer news of the day, Nikola Zigic is having a medical at Arsenal. Honestly, his agent told a Serbian radio station and everything, so it's legit. And just to prove how real this is, here are the quotes:

It is true. Wenger called me on Tuesday afternoon and told me that he wants to bring Zigic to Arsenal. It is clear that you cannot reject an offer like that. But Zigic is the one who must decide. He must say what he wants.

But Wenger was clear, he is offering a contract until the end of the season with the option for another 12 months. I know that Arsenal are in a hurry, but Nikola also has offers from Turkey and Switzerland.

And if you think about it, it makes perfect sense, Sky Sports really have it pegged;

An experienced head with a proven record at the highest level is being sought, and 33-year-old Serbian Zigic would appear to fit the bill.

But let's cut the bullshit. Every neutral/non-Arsenal fan would dearly love this to be true, but it's not. Matt Law of the Telegraph summed up the likelihood of this happening rather nicely.

That doesn't mean it's not been a highly entertaining story. While it seems most people have come around to the reality of the situation, there's always a few who are bound to take this kind of thing to heart.
