As we quickly approach the month of August, it seems that we are no closer to getting clarity on Harry Kane and his Tottenham Hotspur future.
It has been expected that the England captain would leave North London this summer. With only one-year remaining on his contract and having shown no willingness to sign a new one, it made sense for Daniel Levy to move the player on.
However, such a move has yet to materialise.
Manchester United were viewed by many as the favourites for his signature, although they seem to have little interest in getting into a long negotiation process with their Premier League rivals. As a result, Bayern Munich seem to be his only possible destination.
The German champions have already submitted two bids for Kane, both of which were rejected out of hand. They are set to a return with a third offer in the coming days, with the club confident of getting a deal done.
While a move to Bavaria may well be on the cards, it seems that Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou has no interest in addressing the matter.
Ange Postecoglou furious over German Harry Kane stunt
Tottenham are currently on pre-season in Thailand, with a game against Leicester City set to take place tomorrow. New manager Ange Postecoglou faced the media ahead of that fixture earlier today, although one member of the media got on his wrong side after a questionable stunt.
After a German reporter showed up to the press conference holding a Bayern shirt with 'Kane' on the back asking questions about the player's future, it clearly didn't go down well with the Aussie.

Did you get a good laugh for it? Got what you came to get? Maybe? Very good.
You came a long way for that, thank you.
It soon emerged that the reporter in question worked for German outlet BILD, with images circulating of the jersey.
The reporter who brought the Kane Bayern shirt to Postecoglou's press conference was BILD's Max Schrader. Postecoglou was angry when he saw the shirt and said: "What can I say about that? Nothing!" - Spurs press officer then wanted to intervene, but the coach continued [@BILD] pic.twitter.com/rrVWt505ch

This seems like bad taste, with Postecoglou put in a difficult position which he handled quite well.
While Harry Kane may well end up signing for Bayern, this sort of thing is unlikely to make their negotiations with Spurs any easier.
