Former Republic of Ireland international Andy Reid has joined Championship club Nottingham Forest to take up a coaching job with their U23s.
Reid enjoyed a playing career with the club spanning 10 years across two different spells. He will split his time between the UK and FAI, where he is currently Ireland U18 head coach.
I’m absolutely delighted to be back at forest working with chris and everyone else there and also to be able to continue my work with Ireland, to help the young players from my country and the club I love is a fantastic honour! ❤️⚽️ @NFFC @ https://t.co/aRqAKRGDsB

It comes after Jimmy Gilligan left his role as Under 23s head coach. The club confirmed Reid was "joining The Reds on a casual basis as part of a restructuring of the Under 23s coaching set-up".
One player Reid will work with is Republic of Ireland under-16 international and former Bohemians winger Yassine En-Neyah, who is currently a member of the U23s side.
