Football Manager is getting more and more realistic by the annual release, but that's still no excuse for this hilarious blunder that gave Andros Townsend a bit of a fright.
It seems that those who don't know about the wonders of Football Manager can easily mistake screenshots of in-game news as actual news, because Andros Townsend's girlfriend caught wind of a screenshot that her boyfriend had missed training, and bless her soul, she wasn't impressed.
She then took to Whatsapp to seek an explanation for her partner's truancy, and thankfully Andros did the right thing and showed it to the public:
