Man United midfielder Andreas Pereira has lifted the lid on the training ground spat between Jose Mourinho and Paul Pogba which was widely circulated following Manchester United's exit from the Carabao Cup at the hands of Derby.

During the Derby game, Pogba, who was on the United bench, posted an Instagram video and speaking to Brazilian news outlet UOL, Pereira explained that confusion over the timing of Pogba's Instagram post was the reason for the tête-à-tête:
We were winning the game 1-0 at the time of the video.
Then we lost the game, and people said that Pogba posted later. But he posted before.
The manager thought that Pogba had posted later. He asked him why that had happened. There was a mood about it. These things were out here in England. But I have nothing to do with it.
Pereira went on to say that Mourinho has a good relationship with his players who are fully focused despite the intense media speculation around the club:
We don’t feel that pressure coming from outside. Everyone says that he’s being sacked. We do not feel that.
I don’t usually have any English media on my phone so I don’t get intoxicated with everything they say.
He’s our manager, we give our life on the pitch for him and for us too. Everyone is very calm, very focused and very happy.
United travel to Chelsea this Saturday in the lunch time kick-off, with Mourinho desperate for a good result. United currently lie in 8th position in the league, but with the Red Devils recently overturning a 2-0 deficit against Newcastle, Mourinho will hope that his side have turned a corner going into the Stamford Bridge showdown.
