Manchester United secured a 2-0 victory over Chelsea to cast further gloom on Maurizio Sarri and ensure progress to the FA Cup quarter-final where they will face Wolves. Leading them there was none other than midfield militant Ander Herrera.
The Spaniard was sensational for Ole Gunnar Solskjær's side, playing on the right of a middle three with Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matić. He scored their opener and was a powerhouse throughout the tie.
Last week, Herrera gave a fascinating post-match interview after PSG's comprehensive 2-0 victory and once again he demonstrated striking collective awareness when speaking after tonight's game. Herrera picked out much-maligned Alexis Sanchez, citing his "work-rate" as impressive post-match.
"I would like to speak also about Alexis Sanchez and Scott. The way they came into the game. World-class player Alexis and the way he fought. This is Manchester United and this is what we want!"
