I know there must be a few perverse and petty-minded Irish sports fans who were unfulfilled by the greatness displayed by Rory McIlroy this weekend. Luckily, an English side were involved in an international football competition. In case you missed it, the Premier league's future present millionaires crashed out of the U21 European Championships last night after losing a one-goal lead with 15 minutes left to the Czechs in quite humiliating fashion. A shame, really.
