While Marc Wilson and friends had a tough day at the office with Stoke yesterday, one Irish player who has had one hell of a week is Alan Judge.
Since last Saturday, the Brentford midfielder has scored three goals and set up another to help his team win three matches in seven days. Despite not playing up front, Judge is Brentford's leading scorer this season, with six to his name.
Two of those came against Rotherham last week in a 2-1 win, while yesterday he bagged an assist and then this delightful finish in a 3-0 over Chartlon.
Judge was also instrumental in their 2-0 win over Wolves in midweek and is attracting plenty of praise from the Brentford fans.
According to both @WhoScored & @Squawka, Alan Judge is statistically the best player in the Championship at present. #Brentfordfc
