We all know the old cliché. Ignorant America couldn't give a crap about anything that goes on outside it's shores, particularly when it comes to sport. They even have the cheek to call the Major League Baseball finals, the 'World Series'.
Horrendous stuff, but in reality we know that for a country that big there's a diverse population, some of whom perhaps do relate to stereotypes. Take for example the much held belief that Americans are ignorant about the world's biggest sport, soccer.
With the MLS beginning to flourish and soccer one of the most widely played sports among children in the US, there's no doubt that Americans are becoming at one with the world's game. However, GQ didn't find any of those Americans to ask about the Champions League final.
