Amazon has secured rights to show Premier League games from the 2019/20 season according to The Telegraph's Chris Williams.
It's said that Amazon has bought one of the packages which failed to meet a reserve price in an auction held earlier this year.
Rights are sold in seven different packages, five of those consist of 32 games and two of 20 games.
In February, Sky secured the rights to 128 games while BT won 32.
It was reported on Monday by The Telegraph that BT along with a 'new online player' had purchased the final two packages. It has now been confirmed that the online player is Amazon.
The package which Amazon has purchased is part of an experiment from the Premier League. It entitles them to show an entire ten-game round of fixtures simultaneously on two different mid-week dates.
The new deal runs for three years from 2019/20 and means fans will have to add Amazon Prime to their list of subscriptions if they want to catch every game.
