Alexis Sanchez has responded to a report in The Sun that suggests he won a bet over Jose Mourinho's sacking.
The Chilean forward tweeted a picture of the article with the word 'False' over it, stating that he can't wait to help the team against Cardiff City tomorrow:
This is FALSE!!!. José gave me the chance to play for the best team in the world and I only have gratitude for him. We are a truly United team. We are MANCHESTER UNITED. Respect. I can't wait to help the team !. Good luck tomorrow family!
Buena suerte mañana familia ! pic.twitter.com/mKDTVOwsrj

The Sun reported that the 30-year-old posted in a United player's WhatsApp group, ‘I told you so!! Patience is all it takes. Rojo you owe me £20k’, though the claim has clearly irked the forward in the wake of Mourinho's dismissal.
United travel to the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday 11 points off of top four, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to kickstart his tenure as boss at the same club he got relegated with in 2014.
