In what was a more high brow interview than the press conference the former Manchester United manager held on the day of his book launch, Snow took on his guest on all matters from player management, the media, to the Glazers and politics.
The wiley old news man questioned Ferguson's need for constant control, calling him "thin skinned" in the process, pulled him up on his treatment of the BBC, and even questioned his Labour-left loyalties since getting into bed with the Glazers.
