Alan Shearer has surprised pretty much everyone with his suspiciously enjoyable tweets since he signed up to the social media platform a few months back, and you could tell he's been waiting to get this latest burn off his chest for a while.
When a Manchester United fan trotted out the auld classic of slagging Shearer for staying at Newcastle when he presumably would have won a lot more trophies at the Old Trafford club, Shearer suggested that it wasn't him that was missing out, but Man United instead.
@alanshearer @RhealyCreepy bet you regret rejecting united. All them trophies you could have won

Funny-only people who seem to care how many trophies I won are from Manchester! #imaginehowmanymoreCLyoudhavewon ? https://t.co/eYeZmuYjv1

How many more Champions Leagues would Manchester United have won with Alan Shearer?
Eh, probably not that many Alan, but fair play to you giving back what you get.
The Match Of The Day analyst also decided to dish it out to a twitter user who suggested his choices for Top 4 were boring, and this one was pretty good:
@BBCSport @alanshearer @premierleague @BBCMOTD This just in, Shearer states the bleedin' obvious. Again.

Ok just for you I think top 4 will be Palace, WBA, Bournemouth and Watford https://t.co/hxGA2FTfnv
