Alan Shearer's presence on twitter is quickly making him seem like a funny and likable guy, which is perhaps a bigger shock than Jamie Carragher becoming a universally respected and admired pundit.
Even his response to a follower suggesting a belly-flop into the pool would have made the video even better was funny:
