There is a headline we never thought we'd write.
But sure enough, that's the unpredictability of twitter for you. Shearer has shown time and time again that he will not think twice about giving as good as he gets when fans of other clubs chime in with their less than complimentary opinions on the Newcastle legend, and when a Sunderland fan mentioned him in a particularly nasty attack, Shearer responded with gusto.
As part of a promotion for Coral, Shearer was signing an England shirt to be given away as a prize. A Sunderland fan then suggested that he would rather get ebola in an envelope (strange enough as it is), and signed off by calling Shearer an insult we've never heard before, a "Weetabix headed cunt".
The tweet has since been deleted, but you can see it from the below screenshot. Shearer reckons it sounds like a good idea and his tweet still remains.

Right then.
If you fancy ebola in an envelope in the post, then Shearer can sort you out.
Think twice before you suggest the man's head resembles a breakfast cereal.
