The Preston North End fancy dress Christmas party was well and truly shut down by Ireland international Aiden McGeady.
The winger, on loan at the club from Everton, decided to dress up as legendary wrestler Bret 'The Hitman' Hart, and he absolutely smashed it.
Oddly, his teammate John Welsh, who posted the photo to his twitter, also aimed a call-out at Conor McGregor with the photo:
@TheNotoriousMMA who the f*** is that guy?? #tweetpneback
McGregor decided not to respond, which is fair enough, but really he should have acknowledged the glory of Aido's costume. Here it is:
Yes, that is Aiden McGeady.
It's spot on, and should we ever have the chance to interview McGeady again in the future, his wrestling knowledge is exactly where we are going to start.
Did he choose Bret Hart because 'The Hitman' was his favourite as a kid, or did he randomly see it online and think it would be funny? We need to know.
In the meantime, McGeady has inspired us to look back on some of Hart's highlights.. And that's a sentence we never thought we'd publish on this site.
Well played, Aiden McGeady, well played.
