Two weeks ago we shared a great story that Roy Keane shared about Paul McGrath when the Late Late Show decided to dedicate a full show to how great the former Manchester United and Aston Villa defender was back in October, 1997.

Then, we suggested that nostalgia junkie Killian M2 and his YouTube channel had to be in with a shout for Balls.ie Man of The Decade, and now he has surely cemented his nomination with another absolute beaut from the very same Late Late Show.

Steve Staunton and John Aldridge were called on to discuss McGrath, and it was clear that Aldo, like the vast majority of those in attendance we're sure, had enjoyed a few pints of the black stuff prior to his appearance, as he briefly forgot which country he played for:

Whenever I was in the dressing room, and we were playing big teams like England, Ireland.. Sorry, Italy..

Well, we are a big team!.. I've had a few drinks.

We'll let you off John, just as the live audience did when they let out a big 90's Ireland 'Awwww' when he claimed that as long as he had McGrath beside him, that would do for him.

Once again thanks to KillianM2 for the clip.
