There's been a lot of speculation about the short-term future of Adnan Januzaj at Manchester United, with the young Belgian being heavily linked with a Premier League loan move.
After an impressive pre-season in the US, Januzaj would have seen the departure of Angel Di Maria as one less obstacle between himself and the first team, but United's apparent pursuit of Pedro would suggest that Louis Van Gaal doesn't have Januzaj in his first-team plans just yet.
Many media sources have claimed that Sunderland are attempting to lure Januzaj to the Stadium of Light on loan, but the man himself is having none of it and has bluntly dismissed the reports via his twitter account.

A crying-laughing emoji? Januzaj must really find the idea of joining Sunderland preposterous.
It will be interesting to see if the player who promised so much during his debut season can either force his way into LVG's plans, or find a club that he's willing to join on loan before the end of the transfer window.
