It's a sad, sad time for football.

Adidas have confirmed that they will discontinue the Predator, the F50, the 11Pro, and the Nitrocharge, so in other words, pretty much every boot they produce, in favour of a new direction.

That new direction looks absolutely horrible.

While the recent Predators have been nothing to write home about, an absolutely iconic football boot has been buried in favour of these discarded extras from an LMFAO music video.

Not impressed, Adidas, not impressed at all.

The German sportswear giant have released a lower priced boot for people who don't want their boots to make them look like a bad guy from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles, which is called the Gloro, and we already professed our love for it here.

However, the Gloro won't be worn by Adidas sponsored athletes, so we will have to look at the above eyesores in all high-level matches for the foreseeable future.
