Now that we have that out of the way... It's happening.
The Adidas 2002 Predator Mania Lunar boot, arguably the most popular colourway of the 'Mania' series, is set to be rereleased by next summer.
We had heard rumours from a number of football apparel sites that this was planned for 2017, but leaked images of the sample which features the design remade with modern additions have surfaced, and they are perfection.
Adidas Predator collector '@Penmanspreds' first posted the images to his Instagram account, and they have since been confirmed by FootyHeadlines.com.
Behold...
There are tears in our eyes here at the office.
Expected to be released some time around May 2017, the boots will sadly be a limited edition. This means that they will be on general sale, but if the rerelease of the Adidas Predator pack that came out just over two years ago is anything to go by, they are going to be expensive. We're talking the €300 region.
The colourway will be called 'Champagne', which is suitable as securing a pair is cause for celebration, but inclusion of the Adidas 'sprintframe' means that the boot will be much lighter than the original.
