There was no fairytale for Bristol City on Tuesday night as they exited the League Cup at the semi-final stage to Man City. What they did get: the admiration of Pep Guardiola. The Man City manager said that the Championship side are ready for the Premier League.
Last night's game saw Bristol nearly claim a draw against the Premier League leaders. Aden Flint's late goal levelled the game at 2-2. However, they would not manage to maintain parity - Kevin De Bruyne slotted home a 96th minute winner for Man City.
Post-match, as players and staff from both sides mingled on the pitch, Aden Flint had some words with Pep Guardiola.
As Guardiola was urging his players to show their appreciation for the fans, the centre-back seized his opportunity to ask Guardiola a question which appears to have been on his mind for some time.
Bristol City captain shakes Pep’s hand, and - during the one and only moment he may ever have with the great man - decides to ask him why he’s taken the Stone Island badge off the sleeve of his bomber jacket.

Either that or he was asking if Guardiola would swap his jacket for a Bristol City jersey.
Seizing the moment there! No idea on the response though.. pic.twitter.com/nssccNnzXA
