Celtic and Ireland's Adam Idah was full of praise for the 'top class' Celtic fans after a dramatic 1-0 win over rivals Rangers this afternoon in the Scottish Cup Final. Idah scored the only goal of the game in dramatic fashion in the 90th minute, sending the green contingent of Hampden Park into raptures.
The Cork man pounced on a spilled save from Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland to slot the ball into the back of the next, scoring his ninth goal for the club since joining on loan from Norwich City. The goal won Celtic their 42nd Scottish Cup, securing 'the double' after their successful league campaign in which they won their 54th League Championship.

Adam Idah classes goal against Rangers as his 'favourite'
Idah expressed his long-term love for the club in a heartfelt post-match interview, where he discussed the chances of donning the iconic Celtic jersey again next year.
When he was asked how he felt immediately after the game, the Hoops striker simply responded, "tired", before summing up the significance of the game.
It was such an intense game, probably one of the biggest games in the world, and to get the winning goal is amazing...
Yeah it's got to be my favourite. I think the last goal I scored against Rangers, I thought that was going to be the one but it wasn't so I'm glad I got to do it today, and to win the Scottish Cup, what a feeling.
Against the backdrop of the ever-present chants of the Celtic crowd, Idah was asked to describe how it felt playing in front of such a passionate crowd, and what it meant for him to win the cup in such dramatic fashion. He also addressed his future with the club, with his loan move yet to be made into a permanent one.

It's different class, you're not going to get this support and this fanbase in many other clubs. To get a turnout like this and, even when we won the league we came back at 11:30 you've thousands and thousands of fans there.
It's unbelievable to play for a club like this, and to win these big games in front of the fans is top class...
I don't know (about his future). Look I'm still contracted with Norwich, and football's a tricky situation. I'm going to go back in the summer and have my time off and who knows what's going to happen...
Look it's a great club, I Love the club, I've always supported the club, so who knows.
Considering the amount of important goals he has scored since his arrival, you get the Celtic fans would like to see him remain in Glasgow.
It would be a brilliant move for him.
