Languishing in 14th place, AC Milan have gone fully mad and decided to start 16-year-old in goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma, for their Serie A clash with Sassuolo today.

He's 6ft 4, named Gianluigi and doesn't have any homework so I suppose, in head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic's eyes, it is a risk worth taking.

Joking aside, Donnarumma has supposedly put in a series of brilliant displays in preseason. One would have to wonder how their other goalkeeper, Diego Lopez feels about being dropped for such a young lad though.

It looks to have worked, as Milan won the game 2-1.
